Jane Dimitrova has officially been recognized as an ambassador for the European Climate Pact. The European Climate Pact is an initiative of the European Commission that invites people, communities and organizations to participate in climate action to build a greener Europe.
The ambassador’s mandate lasts 6 months from the date of the ambassador’s election, and its extension depends on the ambassador’s adherence to the Values of the European Climate Pact.
The Pact is an initiative of the European Commission that provides opportunities for people, communities and organizations to engage in climate action across Europe to:
• learn about climate change
• develop and implement solutions
• liaise with other intermediaries and maximize the impact of these decisions
European Pact Ambassadors are committed to informing, inspiring and supporting climate action in their communities and networks in contribution to the European Climate Pact.
